Job Description:
- Due to planned growth my client is looking to strengthen its sales force with the key appointment of an Area Sales Manager to cover London, Essex, Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, Surrey, Kent, selling a range of quality flooring profiles and Trims.
Duties and Responsibilities
- My client is a leading manufacturer of quality flooring profiles and trims.
- Their profiles are supplied and installed in residential and commercial projects around the world including Palaces, Hotels, Theatres, Retail Stores, Football Stadiums, and many more public buildings.
- You will be responsible for working with flooring contractors, flooring distributors, carpet retailers, main contractors, architects and specifiers to ensure that business is won at specification stage or products are offered as “equally approved” by Flooring Contractors/ Main Contractors.
- Duties will also include developing new business in growth areas with stone, ceramic and joinery companies.
- To gain business by breaking specification when it is detailed as “equal or approved
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- The ideal candidate will have experience selling to contractors, end user and independents covering London, Essex, Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, Surrey, Kent
- Ideally you will be working for a flooring, ceramic tiles organisation and have a technical background as well.
Ideally You Will Have The Following Skills:
- Collaborative in approach, a team player, end goal focused, persistent, ability to work towards longer term objectives, strong verbal ability, able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, organised, self motivated, numerate and analytical, ability to work autonomously and in team environment.
Salary:
- £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus, Car, Great Benefits
