Location: Croydon, South London
Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–16:00pm
Salary: £500–£600 per week
Start Date: September 2025

Who We’re Looking For
To continue building tailored academic support across subject areas, the school is seeking a Graduate Academic Mentor who has:
- A recent 2:1 or higher degree in any subject (core subjects at GCSE or A level especially welcome)
- A strong academic background and genuine enthusiasm for learning
- An interest in teaching or youth-focused work
- The confidence to build relationships and adapt to different learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
The Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain first-hand experience of teaching and mentoring in a supportive, high-achieving environment. As a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will:
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic interventions to boost progress and confidence
- Support students preparing for exams and aiming for top grades
- Work closely with teachers to identify learning needs and adapt support strategies
- Build relationships with students, including those with additional needs
- Develop classroom management, communication, and leadership skills
- Gain valuable insight into teacher training routes for 2026
