A high-performing primary school in Wandsworth is looking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join its senior support team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026 .

The Role

You'll lead all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring the school delivers a proactive, compliant, and people-focused HR service while supporting long-term organisational success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing recruitment, onboarding, and safer recruitment processes

• Providing expert advice on employee relations, attendance, disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters

• Supporting senior leaders with workforce planning and organisational development

• Reviewing and implementing HR policies in line with current employment legislation

• Managing contracts, payroll variations, HR systems, and personnel records

• Leading initiatives to improve staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention

• Producing HR reports and workforce analytics to support strategic decision-making

• Continuously reviewing HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience

The Successful Candidate

Applications are welcomed from experienced HR Managers, HR Business Partners, Senior HR Advisors , or experienced HR professionals looking to further their career within the education sector.

You'll have a strong knowledge of UK employment law, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and experience managing a broad range of HR responsibilities. You'll be confident advising senior leaders, building positive relationships, and driving improvements across the employee lifecycle.
