A high-performing primary school in Wandsworth is looking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join its senior support team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026 .

The Role
You'll lead all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring the school delivers a proactive, compliant, and people-focused HR service while supporting long-term organisational success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing recruitment, onboarding, and safer recruitment processes
Providing expert advice on employee relations, attendance, disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters
Supporting senior leaders with workforce planning and organisational development
Reviewing and implementing HR policies in line with current employment legislation
Managing contracts, payroll variations, HR systems, and personnel records
Leading initiatives to improve staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention
Producing HR reports and workforce analytics to support strategic decision-making
Continuously reviewing HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience

The Successful Candidate
Applications are welcomed from experienced HR Managers, HR Business Partners, Senior HR Advisors , or experienced HR professionals looking to further their career within the education sector.
You'll have a strong knowledge of UK employment law, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and experience managing a broad range of HR responsibilities. You'll be confident advising senior leaders, building positive relationships, and driving improvements across the employee lifecycle.
