We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver planned, structured repair and servicing directly to our members, whether at their driveway or workplace. What You Can Expect

Your day will begin with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to focus on:

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on inspections
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with our standards

With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to perform quality work efficiently.

Your Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled jobs with precision and care
• Utilize technical skills to solve problems effectively
• Maintain high standards of service and safety

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Working Conditions

• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays required

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
