Science Teacher – Romford – January 2026 – Full Time – Permanent
A large and well-established secondary school in Romford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their expanding Science faculty from January 2026 . The Role
Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 , delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
Contribute to departmental development through curriculum innovation and resource sharing
Use data effectively to monitor progress, identify gaps, and tailor interventions
Encourage a love of learning through practical experiments, enrichment clubs, and STEM activities
Maintain excellent classroom management aligned with school policies
Participate in whole-school initiatives, CPD programmes, and parental engagement
There may also be opportunities to teach A-Level Biology, Chemistry, or Physics for candidates with relevant experience or specialism.
Experience & Qualifications
Science-related degree
PGCE + QTS or equivalent qualification
Strong pedagogical understanding and commitment to evidence-based practice
Ability to inspire pupils of all backgrounds and abilities
Salary
This role is paid in line with the national pay scale ( MPS/UPS ), with potential TLR responsibilities available for suitable candidates.
