An ambitious secondary school in Brent is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Unqualified Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This is a 1-year fixed-term role, ideal for graduates who are considering a career in teaching and want to gain first-hand classroom experience in a core subject such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities or MFL before starting a PGCE or teacher training programme.
The Role:

- Delivering interventions and booster sessions for small groups and individuals
- Developing classroom management strategies
- Assisting with marking, planning, and data tracking as needed

What We’re Looking For:
- A recent graduate (2:1 or above preferred) in a core subject (Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, or MFL)
- A clear ambition to become a qualified teacher
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
- Confidence, initiative, and a professional attitude
- Previous experience working with young people or in education is desirable but not essential
Why Join This School?

- High-performing, inclusive school with a track record of supporting graduates into teaching
- Full access to CPD and teacher training pathways
- Friendly, diverse student community and supportive staff team
- Ideal for those applying to PGCE, Schools Direct, or Teach First in 2026
