We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring, and committed Teacher of Music to join the thriving faculty at an Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary academy in the Ealing area of Inner West London.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026 .

The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Music specialist dedicated to delivering engaging and rigorous practical and theoretical lessons. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice and contributing significantly to the school's vibrant co-curricular music program.
To secure an exceptional candidate, this role comes with an attractive Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum . This financial incentive is a purely financial reward designed to support excellent teachers and their commitment to our school community.

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Music or a related field.
- A proven track record as an excellent Music Teacher with experience teaching theory and performance to at least Key Stage 4 (GCSE) .
- Proficiency in directing musical ensembles (e.g., choir, orchestra, band) is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds.
- The drive to uphold and contribute to the academy’s Outstanding standards.
Salary and Benefits
- Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
- The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale (The Inner London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £40,317 as of September 2025).
- A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
