About the Role:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting children with diverse learning needs, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Morning Support: Provide tailored one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs (including ADHD and self-harming behaviours).

Afternoon Flexibility: Assist across Key Stages 1 and 2 , adapting your approach to meet the needs of different age groups.

Inclusive Learning: Help create a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised learning plans.

Building Relationships: Develop strong, trusting connections with pupils, encouraging their confidence and holistic development.

Personal Care: Support with nappy changing when required.

✅ What We're Looking For:

Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant (or similar role) is desirable.

Proactive & Resilient: Someone who can uphold high standards and bring out the best in students.

Versatile: Confident with supporting children's individual needs, including nappy changing.

Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.

Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with staff and also work independently when needed.

Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
