PE Teacher - PE Early Career Teacher
PE Teacher - PE Early Career Teacher
Are you a passionate PE trainee teacher ready to inspire the next generation through sport and physical education?
Do you want to begin your teaching career in a school that values ambition, teamwork, and student excellence?
Are you looking for a supportive environment where you can develop rapidly as a teacher and grow with a school on an exciting journey?
A highly ambitious and rapidly growing secondary school in West London is seeking an outstanding PE Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join its dynamic team from September. This is a full-time, permanent role within a school that is building a reputation for delivering exceptional education and creating an environment where both students and staff thrive.
The successful candidate will join a strong and collaborative Physical Education department, working alongside talented colleagues to deliver a broad and engaging PE curriculum that promotes performance, teamwork, and lifelong participation in sport.
About the Role
This school is on a genuinely exciting journey. Staff share a clear mission: to create an exceptional learning environment where students are empowered to work hard, develop resilience, and shape their own futures.
As a PE Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality lessons while contributing to a department that values collaboration, creativity, and high expectations. Teachers work closely together to shape the curriculum, share best practice, and ensure students receive an outstanding learning experience.
Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators. Teaching experience will not be the deciding factor — the school is looking for individuals who bring energy, passion, and the ability to motivate young people through sport.
What Makes This School Different
Staff are supported to focus on what matters most: great teaching and meaningful relationships with students.
Teachers benefit from:
• Inner London Main Teacher Pay Scale starting at £41,317
• Full-time permanent role starting September
• A high-performing and supportive PE department
• Reduced administrative workload to maximise teaching impact
• Protected co-planning time with colleagues
• Weekly professional development and instructional coaching
• Twice as many training days as standard schools
• Access to extensive network-wide professional learning
Teachers rarely plan alone. Instead, staff collaborate closely to deliver a carefully designed and highly academic curriculum that supports excellent outcomes for students.
About the School
Opened recently and continuing to expand each year, this school will soon serve around 900 students across Years 7–11. It is quickly establishing itself as one of the most exciting new schools in West London.
Students fully embrace the school’s values of hard work, respect, and ambition, and behaviour across the school is exemplary, allowing teachers to focus on delivering excellent lessons.
