About the role:
This role is a Senior Client Relationship Officer within our Executive Education team. The role supports the Client Relationship Managers and works closely with colleagues across marketing, business development, external engagement and programme teams to promote KBS Executive Education to an external professional audience and achieve recruitment and financial targets on our open enrolment short courses and executive degree programmes. The post holder will have specific responsibility for participant recruitment on a designated set of programmes and support the overall commercial success of our executive education portfolio by generating new interest, prospecting and engaging with incoming leads, and executing sales activities.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
The post holder will be required to work occasional evenings (e.g. programme events) as required in order to fulfil the duties of the role. Flexible working will be given in order to facilitate this.
About you:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Experience in sales, recruitment, or business development, ideally within education, professional services or a customer‑focused environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service across diverse audiences.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholder needs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including marketing, operations and academic colleagues, to support shared goals.
- Confidence in representing programmes at events, networking professionally and engaging prospective participants or corporate clients.
- Results driven – excited and motivated by tangible progress and customer satisfaction
- A sound understanding of business and a demonstrable interest in how organisations support learning and development
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in a business school or in another comparable education environment that provides learning to experienced professionals
- Competence in using CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), with a strong commitment to data accuracy and effective record‑keeping.
- A degree or qualification in business or a related discipline
