An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in the London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a caring and committed EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs within its Early Years provision.
About the School
This primary school is known for its strong sense of community and commitment to meeting the needs of every child. Inclusion is embedded across the school, and early identification and support for SEN is a key strength. The Early Years team works collaboratively to create a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment where children feel safe and valued.

Social interaction and play skills
Emotional regulation and confidence
Independence and self-care
You will work closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and routines to meet individual needs.

Support children during play, learning activities, and transitions
Use visual timetables, now-and-next boards, and sensory resources
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
Support with personal care and toileting where necessary
Observe and record progress and contribute to review meetings
Maintain safeguarding and child protection standards
Person Specification
We are seeking someone who:
Has experience working with children with SEN, ideally in EYFS
Is calm, resilient, and emotionally attuned to young children
Has a genuine passion for inclusion and early childhood development
Can work effectively as part of a team
Is reliable, reflective, and eager to develop professionally
Training or experience in autism support, speech and language needs, or early years education is highly desirable.
What the School Can Offer
A supportive and inclusive school culture
High-quality SEN and EYFS training opportunities
Strong leadership and mentoring
A positive, child-centred working environment
Valuable experience for those pursuing a career in teaching, SEN, or educational psychology
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for young learners.
