Sen Teacher
Job Role:SEN Teacher Location:Redbridge Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist provision. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities Teaching a primary SEN class with learning adapted to individual needsPlanning lessons that focus on engagement, routine and achievable progressSupporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviourWorking collaboratively with TAs, therapists and the SENCOCreating a safe, predictable and nurturing classroom environmentMonitoring progress and maintaining accurate recordsCommunicating effectively with parents, carers and external professionals What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)Experience working with SEND or in specialist/inclusive settingsStrong understanding of behaviour, regulation and differentiationA patient, resilient and team‑focused approachAbility to build positive relationships with pupils and staffCommitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing What’s in It for You Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella companies)Free SEND CPD and ongoing training opportunitiesLong‑term stability with full‑time hoursSupport from a specialist consultantOpportunities across multiple SEN settings in Redbridge.
