We are currently sourcing hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operatives for their Heathrow location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the daily operations of one of the most trusted delivery services in the country.

The Role:

As a Warehouse Operative, your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth processing of parcels within the warehouse. You’ll play a key role in supporting the loading and unloading of trailers, vans, and trucks, organising parcels, and ensuring they are correctly placed on the conveyor belt. You will also be tasked with efficiently loading parcels from the conveyor into vehicles, ensuring they are properly secured for safe transit.

Key Responsibilities:

Heavy Lifting: Handle large and heavy parcels with care, ensuring they are correctly sorted and organised within the warehouse.
Loading and Unloading: Unload trailers, vans, and trucks, and ensure all parcels are placed onto the conveyor belt for sorting.
Conveyor Belt Operations: Work alongside the automated conveyor system to place and retrieve parcels.
Truck Loading: Load parcels from the conveyor into delivery vehicles, ensuring they are placed in the correct order and manner for efficient deliveries.
Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring safe practices at all times in a high-activity environment.

Requirements:

Ability to perform heavy lifting (essential).
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role (preferred but not required).
A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexible and willing to work shifts, including early mornings and afternoons.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time.
