HR Manager (UK & Cyprus Compliance)
We are a growing UK-based wellness business with operations in Cyprus and are seeking a proactive, commercially minded HR Manager to lead HR compliance and people operations across both jurisdictions.
This is a part-time hybrid role ideal for a self-motivated professional who enjoys working independently, taking ownership, and building strong HR foundations within a values-led business.
Location: Must be based in Cyprus/PaphosSalary: Depending on experience
Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week (with flexibility based on business needs)
The Role
You will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensuring legal compliance, consistency and a positive employee experience across both the UK and Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with UK and Cypriot employment law and HR best practice
• Draft, review, and update employment contracts
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and the Employee Handbook
• Advise leadership on employment law matters and HR risk
• Manage onboarding, probation and off-boarding processes
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Oversee leave policies and statutory entitlements
• Lead performance management processes, including KPIs
• Lead performance improvement plans (PIPs)
• Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Identify and implement improvements to HR systems and processes
About You
• Strong experience in HR with sound knowledge of both UK and Cypriot employment law
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle independently
• Confident drafting contracts, policies and handbooks
• Experienced in handling performance management, grievances and disciplinary processes
• Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused
• Commercially aware with strong judgement
• Excellent written and spoken English (essential)
• Greek language skills (favourable)
• CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable)
