SEN Teacher - Hounslow
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hounslow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties. You will work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to create personalised learning plans and ensure consistent support for each pupil.
You will create a structured, calm, and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence, independence, and positive behaviour. Assessment and progress tracking will be key, ensuring that pupils’ achievements are recognised and next steps are clearly identified.
This role is suitable for experienced SEN teachers, though mainstream teachers with a strong interest in SEN are also encouraged to apply. The school places a strong emphasis on collaboration, professional development, and staff wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience working with pupils with SEN
Is patient, adaptable, and child-centred
Can create structured and engaging learning environments
Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
