Payroll Partner

Your role in the JoJo story....

Where: Remote OR Hybrid from our Battersea Office

Reporting to: Payroll Manager

We are looking for a Payroll Partner to play a key role in our payroll operation - owning the full UK and ROI monthly payroll cycle and making sure every detail is accurate, compliant, and running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our Payroll Manager and People team to streamline processes, troubleshoot queries, and keep data clean and secure. Alongside this, you’ll look after pension administration, support our Wagestream salary‑streaming platform, and ensure all statutory reporting and year‑end tasks are delivered on time.

A peek into your daily adventures:

· Managing the full end-to-end monthly payroll process for the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

· Producing related reports and assisting in the creation or adaptation of reporting templates

· Conducting accuracy checks and working with the Payroll & People team and the wider business to reduce errors

· Responding to and resolving queries

· Carrying out compliance checks on a monthly and annual basis

· Supporting the Payroll Manager with processing, alabaster calculations, and other process improvements to streamline payroll

· Maintaining GDPR standards and addressing vulnerabilities in the payroll function as they arise

· Administering company pension schemes, including the company scheme and auto-enrolment compliance, issuing pension joiners and postponement letters

· Uploading monthly schedules to the pension provider

· Processing and compiling monthly spreadsheets covering all incoming payroll information and transactions related to starters, leavers, contractual changes, termination package calculations, long-term sickness, and employees on maternity leave

· Supporting the administration of our salary streaming platform, Wagestream

· Assisting with the year-end process, issuing statutory forms - P45s and P60s.

Skills that make you shine:

• CIPP member or equivalent qualification/ experience in Payroll

• Experience of providing advice and guidance to all people

• Proficient in Excel.

• Ability in building effective relationships and work in collaboration with others

• A commitment to continuous professional development in Payroll and Employment Legislation

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Adaptable and resilient in a changing, agile environment.
