SEN TA | Newham
A highly regarded primary school in Newham is seeking a compassionate and reliable SEN TA to join their team from January 2026. This SEN TA role in Newham is ideal for an individual who is passionate about inclusion and supporting children with a range of learning and emotional needs. The successful SEN TA will begin their role in January 2026, with a full induction and structured handover completed before January 2026.

Working in Newham, the SEN TA will provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils to access learning and build confidence. The SEN TA will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised strategies. The SEN TA will also support pupils with emotional regulation, routine-building and classroom engagement. This Newham-based SEN TA role offers strong leadership support and clear opportunities for development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver daily one-to-one and small-group support sessions
- Implement structured intervention programmes
- Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs
- Support behaviour, social skills and emotional development
- Maintain clear records and communicate progress with families in Newham
Person Specification
- Experience working with pupils with additional needs as a SEN TA
- Calm, patient and resilient approach to support practice
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Ability to work confidently within the Newham school environment
- Available to start January 2026
