Senior Business Travel Consultant remote or London up to £34k + perks

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join a highly successful travel management company in their entertainment, sport and media department, either working fully from home or in the London office.

If you are currently a business travel consultant looking for something different or have been out the industry and looking to get back into corporate travel this is the role for you.

Senior Business Travel Consultant Duties:

• Supporting global accounts, including booking for travelers in multiple countries
• Creating and accurately completing complex travel requests (car, hotel, air, rail) for high touch accounts and top tier (VIP, Concierge, Film/TV Production, News and Publicity) travelers
• Delivering world-class service to entertainment and media clients
• Monitoring call and email queues to ensure timely servicing of inbound contacts
• Creating and maintaining training documents with current processes and procedures
• Assisting the Team Leader with monitoring customer service
• Handling special requests including hotel upgrades, artist riders, junkets, charter flights, car service, excess baggage, production vehicles, etc.
• Advising clients of international travel requirements such as visas, passports, immunizations, etc.

Essential Requirements:

• Extensive experience in business travel is essential providing white-glove-level service.
• Fully conversant with GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre.
• Top candidates will be proactive, motivated, accountable, always willing to jump in to lend a hand and organized with excellent follow through.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with fare calculations, pricing, processing tickets, refunds, and exchanges.
