School Data Manager - Requires School Experience

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Data Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in managing and developing our school’s data systems, ensuring accurate and effective use of information across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on the management, development, and integrity of the school’s Management Information System (MIS).

Maintain and analyse student data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.

Provide timely and accurate data reports to senior leaders, staff, and external agencies.

Support the effective use of data to drive school improvement and student outcomes.

Manage statutory returns (e.g., census, exam data submissions).

Provide training and support to staff in using data systems effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong ICT skills, with experience using school MIS (SIMS, Arbor, or similar).

Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience of working in a school environment or similar data management role (desirable).
