Preschool Room Leader (with Optional 3rd in Charge Duties) – Join a Nurturing, Family-Run Nursery in North London! 🌟 Location: Muswell Hill, North London Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Pattern: 4 days per week (7:45am–6:00pm) or 9 days every 2 weeks Salary: £27,356 – £30,770 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications) 🏡 About the Nursery Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking to take the next step in your career? Set within a newly refurbished Victorian property with a spacious outdoor area, this nursery offers small class sizes, a close-knit and supportive team, and the kind of professional development rarely found in larger chains. 🌱 Your Role As the Preschool Room Leader, you'll guide a small team of two practitioners in caring for and educating a group of up to 24 children aged 2.5 to 4 years. You’ll take ownership of planning, EYFS delivery, and play-based learning experiences that encourage children to grow in confidence, independence, and creativity. There is also potential for 3rd in Charge responsibilities for the right candidate, offering clear room for career growth in a nurturing and professionally rewarding environment. ✅ What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone confident, capable, and genuinely passionate about early childhood education. Requirements include:

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification (minimum), QTS highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within an Early Years setting
  • Clear Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge and application of EYFS principles
  • Strong leadership skills with a positive, team-first approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and providing a safe, stimulating environment
