What You Will Do:

Serve as the lead professional in statutory cases, including child protection, care proceedings, and managing looked-after children

Conduct comprehensive social work tasks with children in need and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being

Collaborate with allied health and social care practitioners to deliver a multi-disciplinary approach to safeguarding

Take a proactive role in the Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Review (APIR) process

Manage caseloads involving multi-agency child protection plans, care proceedings, and complex needs

Requirements:

Relevant social work qualification

Social Work England membership

Completion of ASYE Year

Experience working across voluntary and statutory agencies

Strong communication skills

Confident knowledge of APIR processes and relevant legislation
