£350-£400 Per day
Remote (with up to 1 day per week in London office if local)
About the Opportunity
Cast UK are representing a fast-growing British beauty company behind several high-profile brands in haircare, skincare and wellness, stocked by major UK retailers and distributed internationally. This business develops and manages brands under licence as well as its own portfolio, with a reputation for creative, sustainable and inclusive products.
The Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Account Manager on behalf of our client to take ownership of two of their biggest UK retail partners Tesco and Superdrug for one of their leading haircare brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising revenue, driving profitable growth and increasing the brand's presence across these key accounts.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage retailer relationships, develop trade marketing plans, and work cross-functionally to deliver new product and marketing programmes. You'll also play a key part in identifying new opportunities and feeding insights back to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong relationships with Tesco and Superdrug, developing compelling business cases to support proposals.
- Create and execute trade marketing plans with each retailer, ensuring effective and profitable promotional activity.
- Lead account planning to optimise product assortments, in-store exposure and trade marketing support, delivering against sales and investment targets.
- Oversee the creation of engaging retailer presentations and proposals.
- Work with internal brand and marketing teams to deliver marketing and NPD programmes in line with growth targets.
- Use CRM and data insights to support lead generation and retailer support.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities.
- Take ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets, reviewing performance and recommending actions as required.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing major retail or distribution accounts in beauty, FMCG or a similar consumer-focused sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and profit growth.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive, "commercially curious" mindset with the drive to seek out and capitalise on opportunities.
