Pricing Actuary
Pricing Actuary (Property) - £120,000 - £130,000
I am looking to speak to qualified pricing actuaries to join a high-performing specialty insurance team where you'll play a key role in shaping pricing strategy, portfolio performance, and capital optimisation across Property lines. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with underwriting, exposure management, reserving, and capital teams, influencing business decisions at a strategic level. Some key responsibilities include:- Developing and enhancing pricing models, tools, and methodologies to support underwriting decisions across Property classes.
- Partner with underwriting, exposure management, reserving, and capital teams to assess risk, optimise portfolio performance, and drive profitable growth.
- Monitor pricing performance, analyse portfolio trends, and deliver actionable insights, including rate change recommendations and profitability reviews.
- Lead and contribute to capital allocation, planning, model validation, and risk assessment initiatives across both modelled and non-modelled perils.
- Present analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting key governance processes.
