Head of Sponsorship
A bit about Forest
We’re Forest. You know, those shared ebikes in London that look like trees. Forest is London’s leading shared eBike platform, on a mission to make cities cleaner, greener, and healthier. Our rides are powered entirely by renewable energy and designed to help more people choose sustainable travel every day.
We partner with forward-thinking brands and platforms who share our vision, using Forest’s bikes, app, and data ecosystem to drive awareness, engagement, and meaningful impact.
A bit about the role
We’re looking for a Head of Sponsorship to lead and scale Forest’s sponsorship offering, owning the full commercial lifecycle from strategy and go-to-market through to deal execution, partner management, and long-term value creation.
This is a senior 360° commercial leadership role focused on commercialising Forest’s owned IP, with a primary emphasis on the physical Lead Partner sponsorship across our bike fleet, one of the most visible sponsorship assets in London
The role is predominantly new business focused, with approximately 75% of time spent on new partner acquisition, identifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing high-value sponsorship deals. The remaining 25% of time will be dedicated to partner and agency management, ensuring existing partnerships are optimised, renewed, and delivering against commercial objectives.
You will define how Forest’s sponsorship assets are positioned, priced, and taken to market, ensuring they realise maximum commercial value. A core part of the role will be forming commercial agreements with agencies, managing those agencies closely, and ensuring they are actively delivering sponsorship opportunities and revenue.
This is a high-impact role requiring deep sponsorship expertise, strong agency relationships, and confidence operating at C-suite level.
Your key responsibilities include:
Sponsorship Strategy & Commercialisation
Own the commercial strategy for Forest’s sponsorship assets, including physical bike branding, digital media, and activations.
Define sponsorship positioning, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy to maximise revenue and long-term value.
Act as the internal owner of Forest’s sponsorship IP, ensuring assets are commercialised consistently and effectively.
Build and develop partnership strategies that unlock new revenue streams, optimise sponsorship assets, ensure partners complement one another, and deliver sustainable commercial growth.
New Partner Acquisition
Proactively identify, target, and secure high-value sponsorship opportunities with brands and agencies.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of new sponsorship opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent deal progression.
Lead complex commercial negotiations and close high-value sponsorship deals with senior and C-suite stakeholders.
Position Forest as a premium sponsorship opportunity within the London market.
Agency & Partner Management
Establish and negotiate commercial agreements with leading media and rights-selling agencies.
Actively manage agency and sponsor relationships to ensure delivery against agreed commercial targets and KPIs.
Ensure all relevant stakeholders within partner agencies are fully knowledgeable on Forest’s sponsorship assets, formats, pricing, and availability.
Monitor performance, drive sales and identify optimisation or upsell opportunities.
Strategic Collaboration & Innovation
Identify new sponsorship formats, integrations, and commercial models that differentiate Forest in the market.
Work cross-functionally to evolve Forest’s sponsorship proposition in line with partner demand and market opportunity.
Who you are:
You’re a senior sponsorship leader with a proven track record of winning new business and commercialising IP. You’re energised by acquisition, confident in high-stakes negotiations, and disciplined in managing partnerships to long-term success.
Has 5+ years’ experience selling sponsorship, ideally within media, OOH, sport, mobility, or entertainment.
Has experience working with IP rights holders and successfully commercialising owned assets.
Has strong experience working with top London rights-selling and media agencies.
Is confident negotiating complex, high-value sponsorship agreements with senior and C-suite decision-makers.
Understands how to strategically take sponsorship products to market and ensure they realise maximum commercial value.
Is an excellent communicator, able to articulate complex propositions clearly and credibly.
Is commercially ambitious, resilient, and motivated by growth.
