Sr. Trading Optimisation Manager
Job Description
Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insight and using it to shape eCommerce decisions? Do you love to interrogate the numbers to uncover the "why" behind the "what" and driving stakeholders to make changes based on your insights? If so, we’re looking for a Digital Insights & Web Analytics Analyst to join our team on a 12-month FTC.
In this exciting role you’ll work side-by-side with our LEGO Retail global commercial teams. You will develop insights derived from data which will feed into both eCommerce strategy & tactical commercial action. You will drive insights which feed into trading decisions whist helping the team to unlock new ways to harness the full potential of our data. This role offers cross-functional exposure, collaborating not only with the eCommerce team but also with key partners in Category Management, Promotions, Forecasting, Data Science, Digital Products, and more
Key Focus Areas
- Review ongoing performance on LEGO.com based on a combination of digital metrics & analytics methods to “tell the story” of the main drivers behind results
- Use your experience in web analytics to evaluate LEGO.com performance, crafting compelling, data driven insights which inform actionable business decisions
- Combine both click stream information from Adobe Analytics with complementary quantitative & qualitative data sources (e.g. social listening or NPS)
- Share concrete recommendations to trigger action, improve metrics planning and work collaboratively across the business to put actions in place
- Work collaboratively with peers to find opportunities to innovate the way we understand the impact of our commercial performance & make positive changes for our shoppers
- Work across a range of timeframes, from at pace insights on campaign performance through to longer term strategic planning & opportunities
- Support significant marketing events, reporting on real time performance & proactively identifying areas for optimisation (e.g. Black Friday, Cyber Monday)
- Ensure that the data we utilise is accurately reported & partner with A&I Enabling & other data owners to ensure ongoing governance is in place for LEGO.com
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience generating web site analytics & combining user navigation data (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) with other data sources to inspire change, ideally in a direct to consumer eCommerce Insights team
- An excellent storyteller with experience generating, consolidating & delivering actionable insights
- Established proficiency in data visualisation, ideally power BI or Databricks
- Understanding of data structure and the ability to drive meaning from large, unconnected data. Strong SQL skills a key benefit for this role
- Strong collaborator leadership skills, demonstrating proficiency for building new relationships, leading peer to peer change, and driving through challenging decisions
- A completer finisher with a track record for following an idea through to implementation
- Ability to work 3 days from our office in London (2 days working from home)
