CloserStill Media is looking for a Commercial Sales Manager / Business Development Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the exciting growth of our Digital Health portfolio, including our flagship trade show, Rewired and a range of digital and publishing opportunities.

THE ROLE:
As a Commercial Sales Manager / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the portfolio through new business development, account management, and strategic collaboration with internal teams.
You will work closely with the Event Director and wider show team to ensure the commercial and financial success of the event.
Key responsibilities include:
Generating new business and re-engaging lapsed accounts, alongside ongoing account management.
Managing and delivering against daily personal sales targets and performance goals.
Supporting the Event Director in developing and executing effective sales strategies.
Working closely with the Event Director to ensure the financial success of the event by following best practices to meet and exceed targets, including:
Exhibitor numbers and mix
Stand sales and sponsorship inventory
Yield and overall sponsorship revenue
Collaborating with Operations, Marketing, and the wider show team to ensure the smooth delivery of the event.
ABOUT YOU:
You are a results-driven sales professional with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for building long-term client relationships. You are confident, resilient, and thrive in environments where pace, ambition, and accountability matter.
You will bring:
Extensive sales experience , with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets.
Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions effectively.
A resilient, determined approach to sales, with confidence handling rejection and challenges.
High levels of motivation and ambition, combined with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex sales processes.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where adaptability is key.
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience in tele-sales, media sales, or exhibitions.
Exposure to digital, publishing, or event-based sales environments.
In summary , this role is perfect for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys driving results, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the success of a market-leading exhibition portfolio.
