This is a critical role responsible for the integrity of the school’s management information systems (MIS) and the production of vital performance data for the Senior Leadership Team.

The Role

• Position: School Data Manager

• Location: Hackney, North London

• Start Date: As Soon As Possible (Immediate)

• Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (All-year-round or Term-time plus 2 weeks)

• Salary: Competitive (Scale SO1 – PO3 depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• MIS Management: Take full ownership of the school’s database (e.g., SIMS, Bromcom, or Arbor), ensuring all student and staff records are accurate and up to date.

• Reporting & Analysis: Design and produce complex data reports on student attainment, progress, and attendance for the Headteacher, Governors, and Ofsted.

• Academic Reviews: Setting up and managing the data entry cycles for termly reports to parents and internal assessment windows.

• Census Returns: Managing the timely and accurate submission of the DfE School Census and other statutory returns.

• Timetabling: Assisting the Deputy Headteacher with the annual construction and maintenance of the school timetable.
