Who are you?

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor
• Proficient in surveying techniques and construction procedures
• Possesses strong problem-solving and organisational skills

What are you going to do?

• Setting out piles and beams, recording progress, and reporting discrepancies
• Levelling and surveying on site
• Liaising with engineers and construction teams
• Providing reinforced concrete setting out support
• Maintaining a site diary and reporting progress
• Coordinating pile/beam layouts with site drawings
• Managing time effectively across multiple sites
• Conducting quality control checks and building records
• Supervising subcontractors (setting out)
• Checking quantities and calculations
• Liaising with various stakeholders (subcontractors, planners, quantity surveyors)

Where are you going to work?

You will be based primarily in Glasgow, with travel to various sites across Scotland. Travel and accommodation will be provided when required for projects outside of Glasgow. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects and expand your experience as a Site Engineer (Setting Out).
