Job Title: Business Analyst - Salesforce
Reporting to: Senior Business Analyst
Location: London (1/2 days per month in the office)
Contract: Full time, Fixed Term Contract - 18 months
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering technology, transformation, optimisation and Business as Usual projects within IT.
You will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, documenting processes, working with development teams, supporting user acceptance testing, and ensuring a smooth transition into post-deployment. The role will also involve managing stakeholder expectations, prioritising requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of projects in collaboration with Project Managers and Business Sponsors.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement solutions.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives based on business needs and value.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to plan BA activities, including documentation, approach, and reporting.
- Set and champion best practice standards in business analysis across projects.
- Perform requirements analysis and document acceptance criteria.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on the business and end users.
- Ensure high-quality Jira user stories are created and resourced appropriately.
- Communicate business analysis insights clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Gather and document critical information from stakeholder meetings.
- Work with testing teams to ensure successful user acceptance testing.
- Update, implement, and maintain business procedures.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and recommend optimisation strategies.
Person Specification
Essential
- Recent demonstrable experience in a business analysis role.
- Experience with Salesforce and Integration.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive acceptable solutions.
- Willingness to take ownership of solution quality and success.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong confidentiality, discretion, and commercial awareness.
- Expert documentation skills in a business analysis context.
- Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-moving environment.
- Understanding of fundraising or membership systems is an advantage.
Desirable
- BCS or equivalent Business Analysis certification.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience within Charities or the Public Sector.
- Experience with Data including Data Migrations and Data Modelling.
- Familiarity with process mapping and continuous improvement tools/techniques.
This is an 18-month contract. Paying £50,000 per annum, with benefits including 26 days holiday, pension from 10.5-22%, life assurance, Bupa Dental and other perks.
