YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
We are looking for a proactive and organised People and Talent Acquisition Administrator to support our People & Culture team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with some administrative experience who is passionate about Recruitment, People and Culture. Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition and Inclusion you will assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and support initiatives that build our employer brand.
This Is an exciting role for someone who wants to learn the full Talent lifecycle, and progress within a Talent Acquisition position.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Recruitment Administration:
- Support the Head of Talent Acquisition & Inclusion across the end-to-end recruitment process including reviewing CVs and pre-screening calls for junior candidates.
- Organise interviews and liaise with candidates and Hiring Managers.
- Share Medialab’s open roles across LinkedIn, job boards, our Applicant Tracking System, external partners, and social media channels to attract diverse talent from all backgrounds.
- Support entry-level recruitment by fostering strong relationships with universities, and our external partners, strengthening our employer brand in the talent community.
- Assist in planning and running assessment days for our bootcamp scheme.
- Support in organising insight days, student outreach programmes and university partnership initiatives.
- Continuously looking to find efficiency & improvements in ways of working and employee lifecycle administration.
People Team Administration:
- Own the administration that keeps our team running smoothly, ensuring every process supports our people and culture.
- Act as the first point of contact for recruitment and onboarding queries, providing guidance on processes, benefits, and administrative support with professionalism.
- Support operational Recruitment & People initiatives alongside the wider People & Culture team, helping shape programs that enhance our employee experience.
- Support diversity and inclusion programs, wellness initiatives, and employee recognition schemes that make Medialab a place where everyone can thrive.
- Responsible for administration of employee-related paperwork and letters, including; end of probationary periods, salary reviews, bonus letters etc.
Onboarding & Benefit Administration:
- Manage a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for all new joiners, from induction plans to system setups.
- Managing efficient and accurate full employee lifecycle processes including leavers and employee changes, utilising employee changes tracker.
- Work closely with the Front of House team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of onboarding essentials, including welcome packs, equipment, and system access.
- Responsible for all system administration of new joiners, ensuring all employee data, changes and files are kept up to date accurately in real time.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Genuine passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- Some experience in recruitment, HR, or administration.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Confident using Microsoft Office.
Nice to Have
- Advertising and marketing Industry experience.
- Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience supporting HR projects or process improvements.
- Knowledge of employment compliance and onboarding processes.
