About the Role
A dynamic and inclusive primary school in the Bow / Bethnal Green area of East London is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join its professional teaching team. This is a full-time, permanent role , suitable for both experienced educators and newly qualified teachers (ECTs).
The successful candidate will be responsible for a class within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 , delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils. You will play a key role in nurturing children’s academic, social, and emotional development, helping them reach their full potential in a supportive and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher in this Bow / Bethnal Green school, your responsibilities will include:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet the needs of pupils with diverse abilities, including SEN and EAL learners
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic progress
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders to provide targeted support
Participating in pupil progress meetings, interventions, and whole-school initiatives
Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement and wellbeing
Keeping accurate records of pupil progress, attainment, and behaviour
Participating actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school projects
Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking a Primary Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)
Demonstrates strong classroom management and consistently applies positive behaviour strategies
Is committed to inclusive education and supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds
Can differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual learners
Is reflective, proactive, and committed to professional growth
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Works collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
Experience supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs is desirable but not essential.
