It includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a collection of dining, bar and entertainment spaces—providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

We are seeking an Assistant Chief Butler to support the leadership and evolution of our Butler team—an individual who embodies discretion, emotional intelligence and an instinctive understanding of ultra-luxury service

As Assistant Chief Butler, you will work closely with the Chief Butler to deliver a seamless, highly personalised service experience across our suites. You will play a key role in leading the Butler team day-to-day, maintaining service standards, mentoring colleagues and ensuring each guest interaction reflects Rosewood’s relationship-driven approach to luxury.

This role is ideal for an experienced senior butler or luxury hospitality professional ready to step into a visible leadership position within a flagship London hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Butler in the daily operation, leadership and scheduling of the Butler team

• Deliver consistently exceptional, anticipatory service to our suite guests

• Act as a role model for service excellence, professionalism and discretion

• Assist with training, coaching and performance development of the Butler team

• Build strong relationships with guests, anticipating preferences and personalising stays

• Collaborate closely with Rooms, Front Office, Housekeeping and Guest Relations teams

• Step in to lead the department in the absence of the Chief Butler

• Ensure all service delivery aligns with Rosewood brand standards and values

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Butler, Head Butler or similar role within luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality

• Naturally warm, composed and detail-driven, with strong emotional intelligence

• A confident leader who enjoys coaching and developing others

• Calm under pressure, adaptable and solutions-focused

• Exceptional communication skills and a polished, professional presence

• Passionate about personalised service and relationship hospitality
