Financial Controller (Hiring Immediately)

Join Keywords Studios as a Financial Controller and be at the heart of our financial operations, delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards across our UK studios. You will play a key role the finance team, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic business decisions through comprehensive financial analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and associated analysis for a studio.
• Balance sheet Reconciliations and SarbOx compliance.
• Cash flow management.
• Intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
• Preparation of budgeting and forecasting.
• VAT returns.
• Revenue recognition.
• Preparation of statutory accounts and dealing with auditors.
• Acting as a business partner to senior stakeholders to provide performance and commercial
• analysis.
• Liaising with Shared Services Centre responsible for accounts payable, receivable, and creditcontrol.

Requirements

• The successful candidate for this role will be a Qualified (or nearly qualified accountant) Accountant.
• You will possess a mature and dedicated approach, together with the drive, ambition, and desire to
• succeed.
• You will also have a good understanding of financial accounting and will possess strong
• communication skills.
• Experience of Netsuite is essential, experience of Tagetik would be useful but isn’t essential.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.
