Dental Technician
The Role - Dental Technician at Adelphi Orthodontics
We are looking for an experienced Dental Technician who wants to play a key role in the Adelphi Orthodontics success story. Working in a team of 6, you will support the day-to-day running of the laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of quality, precision, and service are consistently delivered.
Our clinicians rely on our Dental Technicians to produce high-quality orthodontic appliances with accuracy and efficiency, while our patients benefit from the reliability and care that goes into every case. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, teamwork, and technical expertise are essential.

Key duties:
Construct a range of orthodontic appliances to a high standard of quality and accuracy
Manage and process lab orders efficiently, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
Maintain accurate records and prepare cases for delivery
Ensure the laboratory and equipment are clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and order materials as required
Work collaboratively with the lab team and liaise with practices to ensure smooth workflow and communication
Requirements:
Understanding dental materials, orthodontic appliances, and lab processes (e.g. acrylic work, wire bending, CAD/CAM if applicable) is essential.
Qualified Dental Technician or relevant laboratory experience
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement
Understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
Desirable:
GDC registration
Experience in orthodontic laboratory work
Experience producing complex orthodontic appliances
Familiarity with digital workflows or CAD/CAM systems
Knowledge of relevant lab software or systems
