Nurse Specialist Skin Cancer/Dermotology urgently required in London
Dream Medical is currently working alongside a Private GP Practice based in Central London providing locum Skin Cancer Nurse cover Ideally covering a minimum 16 hours a week to start but as the service grows the requirement may transition into full time Monday Friday.Requirements: Graduated from an accredited nursing education program, a current Registered Nurse license, Two years experience as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience in skin cancer screening would be preferable. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a physical assessment on each patient, paying special attention to the skin.
Assist the physician in the performance of skin exams, monitor and record a patient's medical history, and be aware of relevant test results. Educate each patient on how to protect their skin and care for skin diseases and conditions at home. Ensure provision of high standards of care for patients. Ensure compliance with relevant NICE Guidelines, BDNG Competencies and NMC Code. Enhance quality of care by assisting with the management of change in nursing practice based on evidence/research. Plan and organise own workload in order to meet patient's needs.
Ensure compliance with Clinic Policies & Procedures at all times. Practice multidisciplinary team care and contribute actively towards its successful management. Work in accordance with the Clinic Plan to assist in meeting the Clinic Objectives, Act as patient advocate at all times We have robust processes in place, including first class payroll/HR and offer accessibility, honesty and transparency for all candidates. You will be supported by an experienced consultant, to ensure your needs are understood and met.
