Location: Mayfair, London (4 Commercial Office Buildings – all within close proximity)
Salary: Up to £47,000 + Overtime Opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join a dedicated maintenance team responsible for four high-end commercial office buildings in Mayfair. All sites are located close together, making this a convenient and well-supported role within a prestigious estate.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be working alongside an Electrical Engineer and a Contract Manager to deliver high-quality maintenance and building services across a range of plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services and plant.

Work on pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, plant rooms, and associated systems.

*

Support minor electrical and general building tasks where required (lighting, alarms, etc.).

*

Identify and rectify faults, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

*

Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with site standards.

*

Liaise with the Contract Manager and on-site team to ensure smooth daily operations.

About You

*

Time-served Mechanical Engineer with experience in commercial building maintenance.

*

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and medium-to-large plant equipment.

*

Good understanding of electrical systems advantageous but not essential.

*

Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance.

*

Willingness to undertake further training and qualifications.
