Key Responsibilities: Lead, support, and manage a skilled team delivering high-quality and responsive family help and social work services. Serve as the lead professional in statutory interventions including child protection, care proceedings, and looked-after children cases. Conduct in-depth assessments of need and risk; coordinate multi-agency interventions for safeguarding children. Collaborate with health and social care professionals to promote the safety and welfare of children. Develop and deliver tailored care plans and support packages for children with complex needs. Represent the service in court proceedings, advocating for the best interests of children and ensuring robust legal protection. Strategically plan care for children who are unable to remain within their family environment due to safeguarding concerns. Service Focus: Dedicated to supporting families with very young children, those experiencing chronic challenges such as domestic violence and mental health issues, and children with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
