Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Technical Architect to join our high profile client.

Our client provides independent expert advice, implementation and remediation for front office electronic trading environments. Their clients include leading investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds. They use well-established and bespoke methodologies to deliver solutions ranging from trading platform reviews to ultra-low latency design and development of front office trading systems. Their engagements span front office engagements within Fixed Income, Equities and FX. Specifically in the areas of:

Strategic consultancy

Remediation of electronic trading environments

Bespoke low latency development of front office systems

Latency Benchmarking

We are looking for technical architect due to a rapid expansion in the business. I am looking for an Architect who has the ability to consult on multiple business levels, through tech, trading and front office compliance teams. The Technical Architect will:

• Drive client facing consultancy engagements and internal initiatives
• Client facing deep, pragmatic, technical consultancy and the management of projects
• Subject matter expertise in relation to internal and client facing projects
• When required, technical oversight and some implementation for internal projects (rapid prototyping)

Technical Architects Must Have:

• Asset class experience of Fixed Income and FX
• Background in infrasturcutre and software technical architecture
• A strong industry knowledge of the electronic trading arena across either Fixed Income, Equities or FX (Front office, real time, electronic trading)
• Strong kmowlede of Buy and Sell side Front Office Systems
• At least 6 years experience in investment banking, working for or with Tier 1 banks, large brokers etc. Ideally, candidates will have experience in consulting either internally for a large financial house or for one of the financial consultancies
• Ideally awareness of the technical background required for developing or integrating low latency, front office systems

My client has a family feel and traditional values but is known as by far the best low latency consultancy in the world.

They have been trading for 8 years and have around 30 people in the office so personality fit is important. They are a privately owned debt and VC free entity so equity is a serious option.
