Chef de Parties Salary: £34,000 + Service Charge

The Opportunity

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Banqueting Chef de Partie to join our Park Hyatt London River Thames team. As Banqueting Chef de Partie , you will take ownership of a designated section within the banqueting kitchen, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for a wide range of events and functions.

• Section Leadership: Manage and oversee a specific section of the banqueting kitchen, ensuring readiness, organisation , and excellence during service.

• Menu Execution & Quality Control: Prepare and present banquet dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in flavour , presentation, and timing across a variety of event formats—from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences.

• Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor stock levels for your section, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation to minimise waste and maintain freshness.

• Training & Development: Support and mentor Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and local regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

• Operational Efficiency: Maintain equipment and workstations in your section, ensuring smooth service and adherence to kitchen protocols.

• Collaboration with Senior Team: Work closely with the Banqueting Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu execution, event planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
