NRPF Social Worker
Why Southwark?
Everyone who works at the council does so because of their commitment to public service and the people we serve. We have so much to be proud of. We are a values-led organisation, who prioritise our services to residents and have committed and dedicated staff. Our community relies on our organisation and the job we do to bring partners together to the benefit of everyone who lives here. The ongoing economic and social pressures which our community face mean our residents and our partners need the council to be at the top of its game. It is important to regularly step outside of our day-to-day work and concerns and remind ourselves of our purpose as an organisation.
This is especially true when we are going through change because without purpose change can feel burdensome and unnecessary. Our vision for the borough is outline in our Southwark 2030 strategy which sets out our principles and challenging goals for us to deliver. Our purpose is to work to deliver the 2030 vision and goals, to ensure that residents and communities in Southwark have the opportunity to live their best lives. Our ambition is to be powered by our people, putting residents at the heart of everything we do and supporting staff as our greatest asset. Future Southwark aims to support our staff and change the way we work so that we can deliver our vision and purpose.
