Teacher of Technical Studies
Requirements
You will be GTCS Registered (Secondary) in August 2026, have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and an awareness of main current issues in Scottish education. Applications will be accepted from teachers who are currently provisionally registered with the GTCS and who expect to gain full registration at the end of this current session. You will also be required to obtain RC Church approval. Please see for information.Responsibilities
You will deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.The Individual
You will demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence as well as the new National Qualifications structure and evidence of appropriate Professional Learning. In addition you will have a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people, have good communication/ interpersonal skills and relate well to others. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.Recommended Jobs
