The Role & Responsibilities You will take ownership of the school’s physical environment, ensuring that all facilities are operational and safe for use.

• Reactive Maintenance: Responding quickly to internal repair requests and ensuring that any faults are either fixed or reported to external contractors.

• Grounds Upkeep: Maintaining the cleanliness of the playground and external areas, including seasonal tasks such as gritting and leaf clearance.

• Contractor Liaison: Overseeing external tradespeople on-site, ensuring they follow safeguarding protocols and complete work to the required standard.

• Environmental Management: Monitoring the heating and lighting systems to ensure energy efficiency and a comfortable temperature throughout the building.
