Pricing Actuary US Casualty

Bolton Associates are working exclusively with a MGA who are looking to hire an experienced pricing actuary who has US casualty (motor) experience. You will join this underwriting cell as the dedicated pricing actuary / head of pricing in a truely commerical role. The Head of Pricing will be responsible for designing, building and overseeing pricing frameworks for complex, emerging risks across future mobility, autonomous systems, digital platforms and technology enabled business models. Working in close partnership with underwriters, the Head of Pricing will co develop pricing frameworks, challenge and support qualitative risk assessments, and help build feedback driven pricing tools that evolve as experience emerges. This includes the thoughtful use of proxy data, alternative data sources and near real time claims insight from TPAs to inform assumptions and decision making where full credibility does not yet exist.
