About the Senior Fabric Developer Role
As a Senior Fabric Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Fabric. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to build scalable data pipelines, semantic models, and visualizations that support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Must be a willing to learn other Technology Stacks, Data Bricks, Snowflake.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Dataflows, Lakehouses, and Power BI.
- Architect and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain semantic models and datasets for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Participate in client workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design sessions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and its components (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query (M).
- Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL).
- Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and BI architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical delivery.
Desirable Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate).
- Experience in consulting environments or client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration within analytics platforms.
- Understanding of data mesh and data fabric architectures.
