About the role
We're looking for a sales focussed Senior Sales Assistant to join our Flagship Store on the iconic King's Road. We have part time and full time vacancies available. As a Senior Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by having an in-depth knowledge of the products and staying attuned to the unique needs of every customer. You will serve as an inspirational role model, playing a key part in coaching and developing the team to unlock their full potential in both sales and customer service.
Responsibilities
- You will have Key Holder responsibilities for opening and closing the store, ensuring the safety and security of the building when locking up.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to exceed service expectations and drive sales growth.
- Be knowledgeable across all collection ranges, products, and new launches. Confidently cross-sell products throughout the store.
- Maintain knowledge of all in-store services offered to customers and identify opportunities to increase sales through recommending additional services.
- Efficiently process customer transactions, including refunds, while providing a smooth shopping experience.
- Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism, whether in person or over the phone, turning dissatisfied customers into loyal ones.
- Stay current on retail and fashion trends by following RIXO on all social media platforms. Share this information with RIXO customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base by establishing long-term relationships with customers.
- Maximize one-to-one sales opportunities and coach colleagues to achieve the same success in driving sales.
- Be knowledgeable about store and individual sales targets, understanding how the store is performing against plans and previous year results.
- Take an active role in coaching the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Foster a positive "can-do" attitude across the team, encouraging collaboration and contributing to a supportive working atmosphere.
- Inspire and motivate the team by leading with integrity and setting a high standard for performance.
- Assist in the development of new starters, providing guidance and support as they settle into their roles.
- Stay up-to-date with current stock ranges, product availability, and best-selling items. Be knowledgeable about the features and benefits of individual products in-store.
- Maintain high standards of product merchandising, ensuring displays and department fixtures are visually appealing and organized.
- Ensure the store floor and stockrooms are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.

Your experience
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable and interested in fashion/trends
- Proven track record in sales and customer service
- You will be technology literate with a good working knowledge of Web.
