Experienced Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School
Location: Southwark, South East London

Pay: 90 - 100 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Southwark , who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team after February half term.
This is a full-time role , running until July at the end of the academic year , with the potential to continue into September 2026 for the right candidate.
The Role:Supporting pupils across the primary age range in a mainstream classroom setting
Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and behaviour
Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school
Be confident supporting children with a range of learning needs
Be reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
Competitive rates starting from 90 per day PAYE
