Freelance Event Project Manager
We're looking for a self-motivated, experienced Freelance Event/Marketing Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of our SS27 Brand Conference in London in May 2026. This role will require excellent leadership, strategic thinking, meticulous planning and problem-solving to ensure the project meets objectives, timelines, and budgets.
This role will be two days per week from February to April 2026, increasing to four days per week from May 2026 .
The Responsibilities:
Act as the key liaison between FitFlop and our creative/production agency and venue, ensuring all parties stay informed, aligned, and work efficiently toward common goals.
Drive the end‑to‑end project plan, shaping timelines, approvals and cross‑team flow to bring our SS27 story to life.
Own and organise the conference budget, tracking quotes, costs and efficiencies with clarity.
Manage capacity planning, guest lists and on‑site operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.
Coordinate planning of presentation and screen content – liaising with key stakeholder presenters and agencies to ensure delivery of elevated content.
Oversee build, and production of all conference content including displays and experiential moments, ensuring every touchpoint feels premium, cohesive and unmistakably FitFlop.
Define processes and content deliverables for the delegate guest pack – ensuring a smooth registration process.
Provide clear project status updates to stakeholders.
Be on‑site throughout set-up, rehearsals and show days acting as the main point of contact for all queries.
The Person:
Solid experience delivering brand conferences or large‑scale creative events.
Confidence working with and directing creative agencies.
Strong budget management and calm, structured operational thinking.
Understanding of fabrication, build processes and experiential displays.
Clear communication, natural collaboration, and a positive, can‑do energy.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
A love of crafting memorable experiences that leave people inspired.
