The Role

As Head Nurse , you’ll lead and inspire the nursing team to deliver outstanding patient care while fostering a supportive and positive working environment. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, uphold clinical excellence, and ensure that the practice’s modern technology and facilities are used to their fullest potential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the nursing team to maintain exceptional standards of care.

• Managing the daily running of the practice, ensuring smooth workflows and best practice compliance.

• Working collaboratively with the veterinary surgeons and wider team to deliver seamless, high-quality service.

• Overseeing health and safety, stock management, and equipment maintenance.

• Encouraging team development and continuous learning within an inclusive and supportive culture.

About You

• Proven experience as a Head Nurse or senior RVN.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and empower others.

• Excellent clinical knowledge and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

• Confident with technology and open to innovative systems and digital tools.

• Proactive, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
