A progressive organisation where you can really make a difference. We have a great opportunity for a Security Architect reviewer (SAR)to join the team. Key Responsibilities;

• Design and implement security architecture and solutions to meet organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure security integration in all technology projects, including cloud services and on-premises systems.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remedial actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are embedded in all stages of system development and deployment.
• Prepare and maintain detailed security documentation, including architecture diagrams, policies, and standards.
• Lead the adoption of new security technologies and practices to keep the organization ahead of emerging threats.

1. Develop Security Architecture Design Patterns and Standards to comply with group security requirements, industry standards, customer requirements, regulatory requirements and good practices.
2. Assist the development of a Security Architecture control framework.
3. Research, design and document the security posture requirements and controls of new technology introduced into the Group.
4. Research industry trends and regulatory requirements.
5. Lead the Security Architecture evaluation of risks identified in systems, including reviewing, and proposing tactical and strategic remediation plans.
6. Actively contribute to the adoption of secure by design practices, with technical delivery teams for both existing systems and new systems, e.g. use of internal or external guidance, leading Threat Modelling activity.
7. Nurture the use of secure technical practices to deliver technical excellence.
8. Support experimentation and innovation in solving problems.
9. Contributes to the development of metrics and their monitoring to report the effectiveness and efficiency of the Security Architecture function.
10. Contributes to the content and management of the Security Architecture intranet presence.
11. Guiding and mentoring other team members as required

Key Skills & experience:

• Extensive experience in security, architecture and design.
• In-depth knowledge of security standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using security and project management tools.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
