ER Advisor

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an Employee Relations Advisor to join their team in Paisley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in employee relations who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and established HR environment. The role offers hybrid working and a salary of up to £35,000, alongside the opportunity to work closely with managers and employees across the organisation. The Role As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide advice and support across a broad range of HR and employee relations matters, helping managers to deal with issues effectively, fairly and in line with company policies and employment legislation. Your responsibilities will include:- Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of employee relations matters.
- Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Advising on absence management, performance and capability issues.
- Supporting managers throughout employee relations cases from initial discussions through to resolution.
- Providing guidance on company policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Building strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring employee relations matters are managed consistently, professionally and confidentially.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives where required.
- Experience managing a range of employee relations cases.
- A good understanding of UK employment legislation.
- Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to provide advice and guidance to managers.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A professional, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider HR team.
- Salary up to £35,000
- Hybrid working
